Betsy Alison, US Disabled Sailing Team Coach

Team Eagle's success to date gives access to Betsy Alison, one of the world's top sailors. Among her many crowning achievements, Betsy has been a five time recipient of the Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year Award.

Additionally, she is widely recognized for numerous prestigious and competitive races she has won, holding title to 30 national, international and world championships. Betsy is the Head Coach of the US Disabled Sailing Team, and working with US Sailing to coordinate a developmental program for disabled sailing throughout the USA.

Selected by US Sailing as one of the three leading teams to campaign in the two-person sailing event in the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, Team Eagle’s goal is to bring home a medal for the US. While competing in the two-person sailing event, we will represent our country, sponsors and supporters with sportsmanship, honor and skill.
